1 Million Beer Temple
In an effort of saving our mother earth, Thai monks have collected 1 million bottles of beer to construct their own temple in the city of Khun Han, 400 miles northeast of Bangkok. The Wat Pa Maha Chedi Kaew temple consist of Heineken bottles (green) and Chang Beer bottles (brown) was built as a reminder for the citizens to reduce the pollution.
