Chua Soi Lek Sex Scandal and Video Tape
Just moments ago MCA Vice President and Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek has admitted that he was the man captured in the sex video.
He said the woman who was in the video is his personal friend, & he did not shoot the video himself. Investigation will not be carry out to find out who is the one who recorded the video, the most important is that his family has agreed to forgive him.

It is indeed a shocking news in 2008, but I have to admit that it requires a lot of courage for him to admit, let just wait & see whether he will continue to be our health minister…

As I see it, he’s a rather good Minister of Health as he ’s not afraid to do many things that other ministers will be reluctant to do. People always say he’s more doctor than politician as he always speak his mind, a spade is a spade kind of thing, no mincing of words.
I think he has to go but I feel sorry to lose such a minister. Wish politics is not so dirty. Feel sorry for his family too.

For all Muslims, this adultery incident involving the Health Minister of Malaysia is to be a lesson (I’tibar) to remember in our daily conduct. This is a serious act for such a person to commit and even more, by a doctor and also a cabinet member (a parliament member who represents people). Dismissal from whatever position he is holding by the Prime Minister or a self-resignation is not even close to fair punishment for this type of sinful act.
This is an example why Islam through the Prophet Muhammad encourages marriage (rewarding those who work hard towards it and work hard to sustain it) and strongly prohibits adultery (as it invites the Almighty Allah’s wrath and punishment, if not immediately, in the hereafter life).
Adultery, is a seriously great sin. One is continuously in the wrath of Allah once he/she commits adultery until he/she repents (asks for Allah’s forgiveness and truly pledges never to re-commit the sin). A person who commits such sin once, is considered terrible enough not to mention those who commit such a sin repeatedly without a sense of humility and guilt towards the Creator.
May Allah, the most Gracious and the most Beneficent, Lord of the universe, has mercy upon us and protects us from all sinful conducts.
PLEASE LAH……He is after all the HEALTH MINISTER. He needs to practise what he preaches.
1) He needs to test all kinds of condoms before he can recommend.
2) He needs to know what percentage of ‘paid’ women have AIDS or STDs so that his Ministry does not make mistakes in their reports and statistics.
3) He also need to deflect attention from the current Indian fiascos from the ruling party
4) At 60 plus, he definitely needs to know if Viagra and Cialis still work on people his age-group.
5) LASTLY BUT MOST IMPORTANT, he is sending a very important message to SINGAPORE MINISTERS about their “HOLIER THAN THOU” attitutes.
At his age, he is really a proud of man ….

Apologize after such act is useless now. He apologized means that he knew wad he did is totally wrong. So y he didn’t think before doing something wrong??? He cant hold on his position any longer. He deserve it!!!!

Well, he never had problems corporately. He handled the flu outbreak & other tense moments very professionally & with dedication. If there is 1 man who I thought the cleanest among the politicians in Malaysia, it’s certainly him. He never had any problems. Finally, the thing that doomed his corporate & amazing political life was the stupid highlight of this scandal which could have really gone below the clouds. Clearly, this is a timed & waited oppurtunity to bring him down. He had the courage & was man enough to admit it publicly. But, he shouldn’t have stabbed his wife & family in the back. What a way to make him realise that “I deserve this for the betrayal I’ve done”. Sadly, the family faces a lot of shame & heartbreak. Even if his family says that they are beside him through this ordeal, it’s truly a dagger in the heart!!
Well people.. This is just another scandal. It’s like in USA, Clinton was framed, Bush is appointed. So, what’s happening to USA now??? Agreed with “Shit Happens” comment.. Dr Chua handles things professionally and is indeed a leader who drives results. We know “people” are tryin 2 bring him down, sooo obvious..especially just before election. Common lah.. don’t be naive, politics and private activities don’t mix, he’s not like Britney Spears, why interfere??? He’s been framed, so that so people can start blaming the government here and there. Apa lah nie.. those people who wants him down, please don’t act as if you are very “clean” or “righteous” lah… so tak boleh tahan.. if you are caught, see if you dare to admit it or not… please lah… wake up and get your facts right!
it doesn’t matter whether he’s been framed, the fact is that he did it and caught red handed. that’s it. For me nobody bring him down. He did it himself. I wonder how his family going to face this, as for him, no problem with that

Adultery in the first place is the worst of any wrongdoings. Whether the couple who commit adultery are “somebody important” or not, that does not matter.
The video-recorded incident involving Dr Chua and his so-called girlfriend, whether he was framed or not, is unacceptable in Malaysian community who practises the approach of Islam Hadhari.
We must reject these kind of leaders unconditionally. We don’t want the practise of adultery or in common language, free-sex or off-marriage sex to become a regular practice in Malaysia. This country is not America, Europe or any other countries that allow and worst, support adultery.
Whether Dr Chua believed he is a brave man for admitting his mistake or not, that doesn’t change the fact that he has committed a sin. And maybe, repeatedly committed the same sin.
Whether he was framed for political agenda or not, he must accept the fact that he is not a leader with good example. And beacuse of that, he should know that he does not qualify to become a leader in the Malaysian government.
We have many other leaders waiting to come forward and lead the people and we don’t need a leader with such a low moral value like Dr Chua. Maybe, his wife still need him after all this though… if she can live with that fact. And maybe, his 20-year old girlfriend still need him as well. But not the people for sure.
The moral of this incident is again, whether framed for political agenda or not, if you start to commit a sinful act repeatedly and continue to practise low moral value, sooner or later everybody will find out. That is God’s promise and will.
Today, Dr Chua’s turn. For other people, VIPs, or politicians who still involve in such dirty act, their turn will come when one by one of their sinful acts will be unconcealed and revealed to the public. The time for that will come soon enough. For now, we’ll just wait.

Why everyone blame him? I really don’t understand, what he said is right, is not a big deal. In my humble opinion, it more likely a politic scandal more than a sex scandal. This matter is above all personal life, if he can win wars for the country, he should not be despised especially when it is a set-up. I doubt some CEOs of big corporation do not have sex / questionable acts.

Let’s make it clear to those who are still out of comprehension.
There’s a fine line between Great sins and Small sins. Adultery is, again, a Great sin. Thus, it is a “big deal” when it comes to this issue. This is not a practice that can be allowed to spread into the Malaysian Hadhari society.
Whether a political or a sex scandal, that is irrelevant. This act can never be tolerated at any degree. Period.
A good leader today doesn’t necessary be a good leader forever. From a poor understanding perspective, it is believed that a good leader is a good leader. And that is a big mistake.
This issue is not above personal life. When it involves the degree of moral value, it is always associated with personal life. Even if the person can so-called “win war for the country”, it cannot be exchanged with a low degree of moral value.
There’s no doubt that some big CEO’sof big corporation or other leaders have questionable acts. But, no worries. Their time will come soon. It doesn’t matter where or when, herenow or hereafter. You make mistakes, you will face the consequences and you will receive the equivalent to what you commit.
The person has to go because this is not the type of leader, with this moral level, the Malaysian Hadhari people need.
Tragic loss to the country or not depends on how the country loss the person. If you acted correctly with a high moral value, full of honour and responsibility, definitely it is a tragic loss for the country. From this, you can differentiate between a tragic loss and a “tragedy” to the country.
Low moral leaders are replaceable. We don’t need them. Certainly we have many good current & future leaders with great honour and well behaviour (on and off work) to replace the bad ones.
True that Roosevelt and Lincoln is not the best in ethical behaviour. It is because the best is, Muhammad bin Abdullah, the Prophet for all humankind. We don’t need leaders like Roosevelt and Lincoln if they didn’t have the best ethical behaviour. What we need is more and more examples like the Prophet Muhammad to become our leaders in the government. What we also need is to follow the Prophet’s examples in our daily act and conduct so that we always stay in the right path and will not go astray. That is what we truly lack of.
We are not holier than anybody. But for a Believer, at least we know that, for fact, we definitely will return to God. Definitely!. Therefore we should fear the hellflame of God and we must believe that, if we’re in sin and do not repent, the torture of God is unbearable.

Are we perfect ourselves??? Had we sinned before, though maybe of a different nature of sins??? If we had sinned, then we first look at ourselves and ‘correct’ our wrong doing.
