This is my first gps and I have to say it's quite idiot proof and very, very easy to use. I used it right out of the box with reading only the quick start instructions. If your phone is capable of bluetooth, don't go by what's on the web site, try it anyway. My phone is not listed as compatible, but it is, and I've been using it to make and receive calls and have had no problems. The maps are very exact so far and I've not had any problems with the unit. I did a lot of research before buying this model and am more than pleased. I got an updated CD version of their 2010 maps sent to me (for free), and have downloaded the info into the unit (all easily done). I would buy this again anyday. I changed the voice to the british english male and find that he speaks more clearly and slowly than the american english voice.
Great product at a great price.

This item has more uses than expected! It easily routes you around traffic problems, and it recalculates faster than expected. Even with out a trip planeed it warns you up coming traffic concerns miles ahead, the weather warnings pop up is teriffic, save me from a flood area. I had one concern it located a wrong address, I e-mail Garmin, the next day the mapping department had the section corrected 5 stars to their prompt service! So far a teriffic product and staff, I now hear they are adding doplar radar and flights to the MSN feature I can't wait to see it. Another teriffic addition!
