Switch/Revert to Classic Old Version MSN Hotmail
From now on every user in Hotmail will be automatically redirected to the latest full version of user account. However if you miss the good old Hotmail inbox, you can actually do some easy tweaking to switch / revert it to the classic old version of MSN Hotmail Login Page. Here’s how it is done:
Login to your Hotmail account. After that choose the ‘Option’ button on the top right corner. There will be a drop down menu, in which you will need to click on the “More” option. You shall see this message if you do it correctly.
You are using the classic version of Windows Live Hotmail.
Have a fast connection and want more features? Try the full version to see message previews in your inbox. (It’s free, too.)
You can also Switch to MSN Hotmail.
Yeah, no more full version of Hotmail, just the classic old version of MSN Hotmail

None of these help instructions are useful, none of the methods taught here to switch back to classic hotmail are really avaialble.
There is no button on the bottom left to “Switch back to Classic”
There is no menu option in the Options dropdown menu to “Opt out of Windows Live” or to “Switch back to Classic”
I can’t stand the new interface, and I too was upgraded to this new CRAPPY Live without consenting.
I tried to log into my old classic Hotmail and wa presented with a page that asked if I wanted to upgrade to new Live, I clicked the NO button, but wham-bam, thank-you ma’am it was sent to the new CRAP and am now stuck with it.
I’ve sent numerous emails to their Feedback, Help Central, Contact Us links, etc … and no reply.
If they don’t resolve this or provide a way to switch back SOON …. I will forward all my email and setup a new account on Yahoo or some other service and LEAVE this DUMBSH!T, CRAPPY, Live bull dung.
With all the AJAX crap, half the crap no longer loads, it constantly freezes up and I have to switch to Task Manager and end the IE session … it’s a big bunch of CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m in the same boat as all of you, trying to switch back to classic in my other account. And today, was a nightmare when I opened my other account to see this live hotmail new version staring at me. Can’t even retrieve all my sent folders so that I could abandon my two hotmail account. Can anybody help. Been messaging to feedback etc. but seems all of them are sleeping or dead.
I think Hotmail has changed it forever since it mentioned being faster, etc. Its probably easier and better for them and their servers so it might be this way forever. i HATE it.
