TMNet Streamyx ADSL Modem Blinking Non-Stop

Hmm… Have you guys meet this weird occasion before? Whenever I tried to pick up the phone, the Streamyx modem will start to blink & the line will be disconnected! Previously I have yet to encounter such problem, anyone experienced the same problem? I have changed my TMNet Streamyx plan to 1MB package, & now I am still using XP at my home, could it be the problem of incompatibility between the new package with old version of Windows? This really sucks when the Youtube video was only a few seconds to be finished loading & you need to refresh & wait for a freaking ++ minutes again just to watch the video clip…

How is your phone connected? Do you have a splitter for the phone & the ADSL modem? Or does the phone connect to a 2nd port on the modem?

If you use a splitter do you have a filter in the line for the phone? If not, that could be causing the problem.

i m using vista n streamyx 1mpbs, no prob.
but i dun think xp is consider old version of windows..
mabye u can do a speedtest for ur bandwidth speed.. or call 100 for cust service… i must admit taht their cust service is imporving and might help u too. goodluck!
