Letting go is the most common piece of advice we always get when one relationship is over, though sound so simple, this is not an easy task and can never be for everything that will remind you of the person that you need to let go will just keep you hold on even more tight.. thats the twist.. A song, a thing, even an ordinary person will look exactly like the one you are trying to forget and let go.. seems like a joke but thats how God is trying your capacity to tolerate the pain..
One fine night things were smooth sailing between me & my X, then next morning I had to wake up accepting that he is gone forever when I got his message.. “Its over, dont call me anymore, let go..” The world turned upside down for me.. The hardest task that I had to perform was to pretend that I was OK until I was able to accept tha reality of what the message was saying.. One day I let go of all the feelings, anger, pain, regret, and the hardest one, Love.. The next day, I was fine.. I am fine now.. =)
@Eden, I just had the same experience, everything was fine and the next day recieved a MSG saying I don’t love u anymore, don’t call me either. The only thing is that I don’t know how to let go. U make it seem so easy. I wish I could.
@Eden and Sloan
I had the same experience like you guys. Two days before my exbf left for his vacation he was with me. So happy together. Saying endless promises like together forever, that no one can break us apart and no matter what happens it will still be us. Plans for future. It was a perfect moment for both of us but then just after two weeks, then it goes, I called him up so many times, no answer, so many sms, no replies. I waited for at least two days for him to call me back, but still nothing and then when I finally reached him this is what I will hear from him “Sorry it will not work for both of us. We have to stop our relationship. I dont want to talk to you again”. In 6 mins phone conversation our two years of relationship vanished. The plans we have made, all was gone. I felt the world dropped on me. Half of me has been dead. I have no one. I felt alone. And here Iam now, two weeks of suffering but then I tried to be strong. Trying not to think about him and continue living on to my dreams. I know one day I also forget about him. One day I will be able to smile again and say “Iam perfectly ok”

I had the same experience to all of you Guys. Everything were prepared my Wedding Gown, our reception, invitations etc. Me and my fiancee were the one who taking good care of everything for our supposed to be beach wedding this coming September 18, 2010. We were happy together spending time to each other without any hint that something might happened on our relationship. He went home to Australia and me came back to my work place and very excited on our forth coming wedding, when I received a message came from him last June 9, 2010 that he cool off our wedding..For me its hard to accept everything due to the fact that I never had done anything..until I found out recently that He is dating a 49 years old chinese woman 10 years older than me.. It’s hard to let go the love I held for him for so many years..But as what the quote
said that even it’s hard for us to leave behind the person we love, we need to, letting go isn’t the end of the world it’s a beginning of new life, new hopes and new happiness…Mine is still fresh but I am sure I will make it…
