Just to keep realizing I'm not the only person who feels/felt this way. I have lived abroad on numerous occasions and in one the countries I fell in love with this amazing girl. We were inseparable and I could not imagine the day of leaving her. But one day I had too. And now we have been separated for over 3 years and I am still missing her like on the day I left. I can not help it. I've had relationship two times after her, but I had to break up with them 'cause it just did not feel right. It was not fair to them and not fair to myself. Loving this foreign girl has been - and still is - the hardest and most amazing thing I ever did in my life. If there is such a thing as a true love, she was/is it for me. She however, moved on. Ironically she was always afraid I would be the one who would move on. And we have not been in contact for a while now because I have put her happiness before mine. It would not be right to 'bother' her with my feelings any longer. I've let her go but at the same time she's still with me. I feel like a loser sometimes, knowing I should get over this by now! I mean come on! It's been over 3 years! snap out of it, right!? Maybe quote 11 on this page is true. Maybe true love never has a happy ending, because letting go is saying 'I love you' too.
