India’s Tata Motors has unveiled the cheapest car in the world, which only cost a mere USD2500. The dream of over million citizens in India to own a car has now become true.

It’s a small car which can seat 5 people (If they squeeze), no radio & only one windshield wiper. This car will only be available in India, but Tata is planning to market this car to oversea very soon. While it’s a good news for most people who cannot afford the car, it also has a drawback where air pollution will become worse as more people owns car in India.
Will you buy it if it’s available in your country?

I wonder what the avg workers’ income in India is? Is the price even near where the avg worker can afford this car? I’ve never been to India, but from news reports I have seen, most people drive scooters or high-priced imports.

Hi, it causes 40% lesser air pollution than 2 wheelers, which is abundant in india. Also its Euro 4 compliant. So you can see the technology and engineering advancement.. It wont dont any thing to pollution… people just say something without gathering enough knowledge.
