i heard rumors the all three 7generation console which is wii, xbox360 n ps3 going to cut their prices by december this year..
so by the end of this year it’ll be perfect timing to buy the xbox360 with all the perfect 2009 released games, can sapu all latest 2009 game. hehe maybe by that time comes xbox360 chipset is upgraded n reduce the famous RROD decease..
plus, if the price were cut down… xbox360 should be below RM1000 for arcade ver, it is more affordable for people like me who is ‘not a deep pocket type’.

yea bro totally agree with u only the downside is the graphic quality is like ps2. if u got lcd monitor the graphic would be stunning. cheaper alternative though

i have been asking around game shop at my place and they said jasper is very reliable so far (hope so) and yes have to do a lot of survey and asking around b4 spending thousand plus of RM. pretty scared actually this console got bad reputation (3rod) but for budget gamer looking for a powerful console and can play jack sparrow games this is it kekekekeke
. ala even its main rival also got a lot of problem. dah la game ori mahal gile…….. btw if u guyz wanna buy x360 make sure its firmware 1.51 can play all new games (lanun one) 
even xbox360 rival got problem such as YLOD, its same like the RROD.
2 things i learn is put ur console horizontal not vertical to extend ur console life..
and play ur console within 10hours max at 1 time….after cold can sambung balik
just to prevent ur console get too overheat.
but when it come with games disc especially the jack sparrow….still xbox360 the best

If u go for moded set, there is no Xbox Live Membership Card for u to play on-line. But usually they’ll replace it with 10 free games.
Make sure u buy the Jasper chipset version. I got info from a trusted source, when u buy check the date of manufactured (MFD), if its on Nov / Dec 2008 n above then its a jasper. U got a less chance of RROD if u have a Jasper chipset.

ok, as i only remember the shop is on 1st floor…while u on ur way to the shop there’s a silver accessories seller n kedai dvd/bluray pirate punya, when u got there u find a shop with a 32” lcd tv on the showcase in front. the tauke is chinese old uncle, go ask him for xbox360…u’ll get price RM980 for arcade set + 6 games.
i suggest u go for 1 last survey to all game shops on that floor maybe u might get lucky
about the jasper/falcon set, i cant really tell. coz u have to see the jasper spec ur self like 150W power brick, power supply 12.1V, installed hdmi ready port, and MFD on Dec 2008 above.

its a jasper built on April 09, and 1 year warranty.

1) for now sungei wang got short of xbox360 stock. u wanna buy better buy now coz in future microsoft will set their platform that cant be mod like ps3. current price of xbox360 60gb is about RM1400 n above at sungei wang for moded n ori.. if u wanna mod ur console it’ll cost u about RM100 – RM180 depends to which shop u go.
2) 20gb hardrive i dont sure if they still sell them, about the price i dont really done a survey. but i’ll do in a month or two. but controller is RM140 (energizer battery included).

why i dont buy my xbox360 arcade for RM980 at ‘old uncle shop’ that i mention on my previous post??
= they cheat me. they mark up the price to RM1200 the day i want to buy that xbox360.
then i go for last survey n found out all the shop gave me a nonsense price. suddenly i end up at low yatt n got mine.
my advice..
if u go for moded better buy the arcade set coz u’ll get baned if u go online. then u must be really careful to those shop at sungei wang, coz i’ve waste lots of times survey the xbox360 at sungei wang. some shop will cekik u about RM1400 just for an arcade, how about pro?? RM1800?? its just dont make sense at all. better beware bro..

that cooler fan is included in the package. i got all in 1
that cooler fan can fit la bro…its at the back of the console but it really works great. better than without cooler fan even i cannot rasa the heat by playing 6hours straight.
about the hardisk, i think maybe later2 la. i still have 300mb free space in memory unit. next month maybe.

welcome to malaysia.. current price of xbox360 pro (moded) doesnt match ur budget. better top up another RM200, ya know just in case. coz for pro set can easily cost u about RM1350 at least. wish u good luck when u bargain for lower price
I am intersted in buying the wii game. however i am quite confused here. what is the difference between the original wii and the moded wii. besides, what are the accesories needed for the wii game. thanks
ok, wii ori n moded basically is different.
with ori wii set u can go online and download the latest firmware or what so ever to get ur console up to date, n buy games online. n like usual ori set means only play ori games.
but for moded wii u’ll get a very high risk to brick ur console if u go online. the only advantage u got is u dont have to spend hundreds to buy ori games. its cost u about RM 6 per ‘jack sparrow’ cds.
lastly for accessories, its up to u actually. wii remote with nun-chuck r ok already. unless u dont know what to do with ur money then buy la wii fit, u can play skating, yoga n etc.
if i got an offer for xbox360……about rm1250 for the console (jasper set), 2 wireless controller, 10 games……do u tink the price is reasonable??

ok, can choose this shop if u want to cut cost but in return u have to trade ur precious ps2. if i were u, i dont trade my ps2 coz if u get bored of xbox360 u still have ps2 to play..i bet u already have 50++ ps2 games rite? got lotsa great game on ps2 such as god of war 1/2, devil may cry 1/2/3, need for speed, metal gear solid 2/3, guitar hero, n etc, not worth it for RM100++. but it always ur decision

as u mention about 1.6, its actually a firmware installed in the set. maybe that 1.6 is the latest firmware. the main reason to have a latest firmware is u can play all new released game.
i lack knowledge about that firmware thing but logically its same thing like updating ur pc anti-virus la.

hey there.. i need ur advice here.. i repaired my xbox 360 (not falcon or jasper model) for almost RM400. but it only lasted for about 1 week.. nw the shop fella said there is something wrong wif the motherboard and said i need to pay another RM120 to repair.. is it worth repairing? i tot of gettin a new jasper model but scared it will be give problems.. my current 360 lasted me less than 3 months and i am quite broke ad.. pls reply asap.. thanks
seriously dude buy jasper instead wasting your money fixing this 1st gen x360 bcoz so far never heard jasper suffer 3rod and hopefully run perfectly. if u buy the OTHER console that can only play ori games it also suffer about the same problem plus pricey ori games so i recommend buy arcade jasper. last time i heard the price will increase so better hurry bro kekekeke.

Dear kop…….the jasper set i bought have a built in of 512 mb……shud b enuf for normal saving game….if u reli need extra memory……u can alwiz buy later the external hard disk…….the pro if i m not mistaken is about 1500
