Switch/Revert to Classic Old Version MSN Hotmail
From now on every user in Hotmail will be automatically redirected to the latest full version of user account. However if you miss the good old Hotmail inbox, you can actually do some easy tweaking to switch / revert it to the classic old version of MSN Hotmail Login Page. Here’s how it is done:
Login to your Hotmail account. After that choose the ‘Option’ button on the top right corner. There will be a drop down menu, in which you will need to click on the “More” option. You shall see this message if you do it correctly.
You are using the classic version of Windows Live Hotmail.
Have a fast connection and want more features? Try the full version to see message previews in your inbox. (It’s free, too.)
You can also Switch to MSN Hotmail.
Yeah, no more full version of Hotmail, just the classic old version of MSN Hotmail

I hate new window live hotmail. I always have to download pictures!!!! how do i revert back to previous version?

Today Sept 27, 2010, tried switching back to Classic Hotmail, but in the “more”
menu there is no “Switch back to Classic” option.
Any other solution? Thanks.
HELP, I have signed up for hotmail live thinking my contacts would also be transfered. But no and I have lost all my contacts. I have tried to retrieve them via the options menu with no success. I have also tried to go back to Hotmail classic with no success. Can you help

Like all the other people who have wrote asking how do they get the old version of MSN back, I want to know as my lappy wanted to do some updates, one of Window live essentials and it’s changed everything, I was quite happy with Windows live messenger 7.5…..
Can you please help me as I hate this version Grrrrrrrrrr.

Totally agree with previous comments. Give us a CHOICE! Now, I cannot right click on a contact to read any notes/contact details I have filled in with this new version.
Sent an email to Windows Live but they appear to be Windows DEAD – have had no reply!

I love the MSN Hotmail. I had no problems signing on. With the new version I have to go through alot complications just get my password reset.

Hotmail is shit, their logo should be a large steaming turd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Three weeks of going through their shitty “password reset” rigamarole to no avail, they claim that 17 K email accounts are screwed up, I’m guessing that it’s a corporate lie and the number is far greater.
