Celcom Broadband, anyone?
I have been using Maxis Broadband for nearly 6 months, so far so good, yet the price for Celcom Broadband really attracts me a lot. RM68/month for 3.6 Mbps package, nice deal isn’t it? Tell me who doesn’t like cheap broadband with fast speed? Especially after reading in some local forums regarding their complaints of Maxis Broadband it really makes me want to change to Celcom Broadband.
For online gamers it is always a better choice to choose the plan with better connection, surely you won’t want to see you are just few steps before your mission accomplished & all of a sudden the pc lag & when everything is back to normal you see nothing but your character laid on the ground. ( This SUCKS especially when one more kill can gain you the Beyond Godlike status in DOTA )
One more thing about it is that if you have a 3G mobile phone, you can use it as modem and connect it to your computer to surf the internet, however the speed with be slightly slower.
So, will you subscribe to Celcom Broadband?

I’ve been using Celcom bb for 3 days using my w910i
First day sux
second day seem the suxness is wiped away a little
today it’s good enuff
i register for the rm 98 package but didn’t get the hsdpa signal here
but got the 3g signal only.
at 3 bars signal i can download 30 mb in about 10 minute
using download accelerator get average about 100 kbps mostly higher
just now download from youtube at 40 kbps
and on that 2nd day i download about 600 mb of files
playing online game today got some lag sometimes but nothing serious.good enuff for me.never got disconnected
thinking about downgrade to rm68 package.no hsdpa here
well it’s acceptable for me but i dont get hsdpa signal here that sux
oh and 1 more thing u can do something to make ur connection go faster and more stable but i’m not gonna tell…haha

the service s**ks…
cannot connect for more than 12 hours now. can connect through gprs sometimes but very unlikely like 1/15 chance most of the time i can’t. the signal are 3g and got full bar signal every time…
don’t know if they capped or block my connection or what.i suppose i’ve downloaded more than 5 gb since i’ve been using the service
there are no hsdpa signal whatsoever, and as a matter of fact my area are actually claimed to be covered by hsdpa connection. i lookup the celcom websites for that. even at the town centre no signal for hsdpa shows up in my phone. when i switch to my maxis phoneline the hsdpa signal are almost everywhere around my area.
to anyone who worked for celcom…the technician..the policy makers…the marketers all of u are those people who are ******* d*mned
celcom is just a name used for disguise by a corporation saying & claiming they provide communication & telecommunication service to their customer…
but what they actually do and are really good at is stealing people’s money
and still cannot open google right now

, i agree with gualipan, i got s**k services too… very dispointed.. i got under 1kbps everyday… pay for nothing… when the technician came to my are to test… the connection excellent, but then he going back, d*mm it happened again… Maybe in 1 day just 1/2hour have better surfing, other just page with error connection, connection interrupt so Rm68 for 15hour usage per month,… so expensive…
all they have said are right… the connection is so slow that i can’t view some website although sometime it seems to be fast, but don’t foolish enough to think that you will reach >200kbps!
dun buy MAXSHIT! u sure will regret! the first few months is ok but then after half an year it become super super slow! sumtimes cant browse at all even though it is connected! after the contract matured i will switch to oth..
