Here are some basic tweaks that you can use to make your Streamyx load faster and smoother :

1. Make sure the line has the copper wire tighten properly and not touching each other, & get the plastic insulation properly removed and tighten around the screw inside the faceplate.

2. Try to connect directly without the DSL filter. If you use a dedicated phone line just bypass the filter if you do not need it.

3. DO NOT use long cables, the shorter the better, remember the shorter cable you use the lesser errors will occur when data travels

4. Stop running any background programs as it will make your pc load slower

5. Install Firefox Extension : https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/extensions/
& configure the turbo settings. You can tweak the settings manually, fasterfox makes it easier for beginner.
