How many tentacles does an octopus have? 8? Well then it is not true anymore because there’s an octopus found in a seafood shop in Japan with nine tentacles!
A spokesperson for the Akashi Seafood Council confirmed the weird nature of the extra-tentacled creature:” Here we have seen once in almost 20 years, unique I should say”

I think it’s the regenerative nature of the octopus…….. guess one of it’s tentacles was damaged and it grew two instead of one…… probably once in a lifetime thing….

@kljs: Yup, probably, & btw the octopus looks more like a starfruit for me
